by creating an account on paiychat (paiychat.com), or by visiting any paid persona page, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the service.
paiychat is for adults only. you must be at least 18 years old to create an account, view any persona profile, or fund a chat session.
paiychat lets fans pay creators per letter typed during live, ephemeral chat sessions. payment settles on the Bitcoin SV (BSV) mainnet via non-custodial payment channels. paiychat is the marketplace, not a custodian of your sats.
you may not use paiychat to send, request, or solicit:
creators retain ownership of their public profile content (bio, avatar, persona name). by posting it, you grant paiychat a non-exclusive licence to display it on the service.
you're responsible for keeping your account secure. that includes your password (for email accounts) or your recovery phrase (for seed-based accounts). if you lose your recovery phrase, your seed-based account is gone forever — we cannot reset it. write it down before you forget.
we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, file fraudulent reports, or attempt to defraud creators or fans.
all sat amounts shown are pre-fee. the platform fee is 10% of the creator's earned sats per session. on-chain network fees (typically < 50 sats per session) are paid from the fan's UTXOs.
because settlement is on-chain and irreversible, paiychat does not offer refunds beyond the automatic channel-close refund of unused locked sats. if a session is force-ended due to a content violation, the fan's refund is processed via the standard close path.
paiychat does not permit sexually-explicit content of any kind. personas, bios, and chat content must be safe-for-work. AI moderation auto-rejects sexual content at persona creation and during live sessions; violations result in immediate persona removal and account suspension.
paiychat is provided "as is". we don't guarantee any creator's availability, response quality, or earning potential. crypto markets are volatile and BSV's price may fluctuate — sats earned today may be worth more or less tomorrow.
to the maximum extent permitted by law, paiychat's liability is limited to the platform fees you paid in the 30 days before any claim. we're not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. disputes are resolved in the courts of England and Wales unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction applies.
we may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will reflect any change. continued use after a change means acceptance.
